Casey Sadahiro was raised in the high mountain desert of western slope of Colorado. He spent his summers with his grandparents between Southern Colorado and Northern New Mexico.
He attended Colorado Mesa University where he served on the cultural diversity board for the university. In this capacity, he connected students with statewide organizations facilitating opportunities to conferences and state lobby days for the LGBT students to have a voice in their community. Prior to moving to central Oregon he served on the board of directors for Colorado West Pride, bringing the first pride parade and festival to the western slope of colorado and increasing community and visibility for rural residents.
Casey moved to central Oregon in the summer of 2017 where he made a change in career to the social work field and soon moved into his role as mobile outreach coordinator for Mosaic Community Health’s mobile clinic in 2019.
In 2022, Casey joined the Jericho Road board of directors. He continues to advocate for vulnerable and in need populations with his wit, humor, and willingness to tackle complex problems head on.
